Chapter 9Just a recap ,remember I was stuck in a Izan truck in the last chapter, here’s what happens nextHiss,hiss.A snort came from the passenger seat. I got up and tried to ram the barrier around the front of the truck. "You can’t escape" a new voice rasped. "Who are you people" I asked. A human face appeared from in front of the seat
" Oh we are just regular Izan soldiers" he sighed "Not!!!!!!" the other soldier screamed. They both started laughing, " Hey who’s going to drive" I asked
"don’t worry about crashing"
"yeah, we are already at our destination"
I looked out a window to see a skyscraper with the Izan symbol carved into the front. "Another puny base to destroy" I joked
"oh we are not going there"
"we do that another time"
"do you work for the Izan"
"No"
The two soldiers then touched the back of their necks and ,instead of being surrounded by white light, a black line started at there feet and moved up. One soldier transformed in to a large ghostly beast with a head shaped like a crescent, with two big claws on each arm. The other one turned into a short cat/devil thing equipped with long spear with a giant metal head and fangs."It’s slower than regular shifting but way cooler"they explained.
"I’m Ren" the cat/devil introduced himself.
"Dusk" The ghost said menacingly.
They opened the door and shoved me out. I went shifter before they could stop me.
"You’re a shifter"Ren exclaimed.
I responded by tail whipping him in the temple, he crumpled.
"Ren"!!
"he’s still alive"
Dusk punched the ground and two claws shot toward me. I ducked and said
"Ha, Ha you missed me".
Dusk smiled and pointed, I turned around just to be hit in the face by the claws.
I jumped onto a skyscraper and scaled it.
The city was right on the edge of the forest that concealed our camp.
I leapt on to a tree and jumped down to the forest floor. I ran until the city was out of sight.

Chapter 8: New technology
"WAKE UP"! Ryo shouted, whacking me with a pillow. "ok, ok, just stop" I laughed. I got up and threw a pillow back at Ryo. He then lifted a rock out of the ground and threw it at me. I dived out of the way just in time. " easy there" Jack yelled as he ran into the cave. "Ryo you are taking it to far again" Slice whispered in Ryo's ear. I walked outside to get away from Ryo . Dylan was feeding ruby, the raft was still tied to the rock and the campfire was only ashes. " I think I will get some more firewood" I told Dylan. ( Dylan is not a shifter but he can control plasma). I climbed up the cliff face using the little twigs sticking out of the rock. Suddenly I felt talons wrapping around my shoulders. I twisted my head around to try and see who or what grabbed me. I tried to see but my human head could not turn that far. " need help?" The thing behind me asked
"Jack?"
"Yeah"
"It's you"
"Duh of course"
"ok"
He dropped me off at the top of the cliff.
"thanks"
"No prob"
I waved to Jack as he flew back to camp.
Then I continued my trek for "firewood". I used fire to launch myself up to the top of a oak tree. I went shifter and used my claws to slice the big branches off. Then I gathered all the branches up together and threw them down the cliff. Then a bullet hole appeared right beside my foot. I went shifter and turned around to see another bullet whiz past my face. Chapter 7: The team
I woke up to the sound of Drapht snoring, making him levitate. I sat staring at the rock ceiling for a couple of minutes. No need talking about the ceiling. Then as Drapht does every time he wakes up "Who, what, where, when , why" he shouted. Breiz replied to his scream "Shut up Kor"
"It wasn’t me!"
"sure"
"Die"
Breiz launched a tornado at Drapht. Drapht was splattered against the wall "you asked for it" Breiz snorted. "I will beat you to breakfast" Drapht taunted, spreading his wings. " Oh, no you won’t’ Breiz answered confidently
"3,2,1 GO!" I shouted.
They were off, and at about 100m ph to. Once they were out of sight I crawled out of the den and into the middle of the mountain. Then (without being tackled this time) walked out into the fresh air. I went back to the destroyed tank and looked for footprints. I found a lot of boot tracks running in circles. After about 5 minutes I found what I was looking for: a dinosaur print pointing away from the ruined tank. I followed it until I came to a cliff. There was a beach below me with a camp. The camp had one tent, one cave and a campfire. There also was raft tied to a big rock, floating in the water. Then another Komodo dragon jumped out behind me and said
" Hi Kor"
"What are you doing here Gariin "
"It’s not just me it’s the whole clan"
Then eleven more Komodo dragon’s jumped out of the bushes. "Hi" they all shouted at once.
"Ok, since you’re here, I have a job for you"
"What is it"
"Ok"
I sat and waited for them to come back. I fired a heat seeking fireball into the cave once the clan was out.
"Ok now we have to charge them"
"Sure"
So we climbed down the cliff and attacked. The battle was a blur, there was darkness balls, plasma balls and electric shots whistling past me. I kept my shield around me. Finally I saw a chance of attack. The purple and black dragon was busy fighting Gariin. I made my move ,which was called boom box, and caught the dragon.
( BOOM BOX: Which makes a box of fire around them that can shrink and crush them if I want it to) "The Izan will never catch me" I spat at him
"Seriously man a dragon shifter on the Izan side, you got to be joking" he replied.
"Oh yeah I was not thinking, sorry"
"It’s ok"
"Reptile clan go home"
They walked away grumbling and muttering.
"ok" "I guess I owe you a apology" "sorry"
"it's okay"
"I hate ,no, loath the Izan, So can I join your team?"
"sure we can use any help we can get especially because Ryo and Slice are wounded'
"sorry about that"
"it's okay"
" so where do I stay"
"cave or tent?"
"cave, if there is enough room"

I fell asleep the moment I laid down in my neatly made bed.

Chapter 6 : The resistance
I thanked Ghost for the ride and told Breiz and Drapht to bring him back into my den. I wanted to get a better look at the rest of the earth plains. I climbed a tree so I could see farther around. I saw a group of deer huddling together, I also saw a Izan T.E.M.P.T. tank heading toward the reptile clan's stone fortress. I made my way down the tree and toward the T.E.M.P.T. (Tactical electro-magnetic pulsar tank) . I wanted to take those buggers out before they did any damage. The tank was parked in a clearing and Izan soldiers were getting out of it. I targeted one solider who was the closest to me. I tackled him and grabbed his attack knife. I covered his mouth with my hand and hit him with the handle of the knife. He went limp , I checked for breathing, he was alive but knocked out . Other than his knife I also stole it's sheath and it's strap. Once I figured out how to strap the knife on I kept searching for more soldiers. "Another lucky customer" I whispered to myself. But this time the guy I ran into was the captain , I could tell be the insignia on his shoulder. I jumped out in front of him and slashed at his stomach ,he parried and attacked back. I used fire to launch myself over him and his knife. I whipped around and luckily knocked his knife out of his hand. It flew and wedged itself in a tree. He reached behind his back and pulled out a shotgun. I made my special fire sheild just as he pulled the trigger, the bullets hit and melted into the sheild. I then used one of my newest moves, breaking the shield into a dozen little daggers and launching them at the captain. My dagger's pinned him against a tree.
I walked up to him and said "nice moves"
"You too" he replied calmly.
I whacked him across the face and ,he too, was knocked out.
I walked back toward the tank.
I heard clanging and screaming.
There was a gray rhino person jumping on the tank, smashing it's hull in.
A raptor was shooting electric balls at izan soldiers and a dragon was adding darkness balls to the electric.
The dragon had purple skin and black scales.
The raptor was orange.
The remaining troops fled into the woods.
I backed away and ran back home.
I walked up to him and said "nice moves"
"You too" he replied calmly.
I whacked him across the face and ,he too, was knocked out.
I walked back toward the tank.
I heard clanging and screaming.

Chapter 5
Chapter 5: Ghost.
I will just tell you people who did not read the ending paragraph of chapter four that all I did was own some Izan soldiers . Now I’m on my way back to the reptile clan’s hideout. I was still in my Komodo dragon form from fighting the izan sqaud. Another reason I’m still a Komodo dragon is that I’ve figured out that Komodo dragons are faster than humans. I saw a house up in the distance and immediately started running toward it, for some reason I just felt like I was being pulled toward the house. The house was covered in red bricks with black garage doors. The door opened as soon as my foot touched the first step. I was to curious, I stepped inside. The first thing I noticed was the brown mannequin lying on the tiled floor. The second thing I noticed is there was nobody here, or so I thought . The mannequin got up , a mannequin getting up off the floor! It was on it’s feet now. It was missing one eye , and it looked like a bear took a big bite out of it’s side. Remember how I told you the mannequin was missing one eye, well the missing eye just flipped up into it’s socket. The eye came from inside the mannequin’s head. The mannequin’s eye then fell out from the socket again. It hit the ground and started moving. While it was rolling around it spilled dark red ink behind it. It took a matter of seconds to finish this spasm. The red ink wrote THE END . The eye then flew up into the air and splattered itself onto the ground to make a period. I backed away and ran up stairs. I was thinking of jumping out a window. But that would be really stupid. I ran into a bedroom, and pinned up to the wall was a Izan solider’s skeleton. "I see these people had a grudge against the Izan " I said aloud, trying to humor myself. Then a black cloak floated out from the wall into the izan’s body. It caught the izan’s skull on it’s head.
" Wait a minute this isn’t my mask" it said and floated back into the wall. A second later the skull came flying out of the wall and nearly hit my head. I was to scared to even move or flinch.The ghost came floating back out of the wall with a circular skull mask that only covered the front of his\her head.
"Now where were we"
"You floating out of the wall"
"Oh yeah" The ghost then reached behind his\her back and pulled out a very long and sharp scythe , with pink fluffy dice on the end, you know those car dice. I started laughing " what the heck are these doing here " It shouted. He\her reached out and plucked the dice off and threw them back into the wall. This ghost was getting less frightening by the minute.
"Kor?"
"Yeah"
"Are you a shifter?"
"Yeah"
"Come with me"
"Okay" I said still giggling .
The ghost told me his name was Ghost. Ghost took me to the garage where a silver convertible was waiting for us. I changed back into a human so I could fit in the car.

Chapter 4
Chapter #4
I opened my eyes and jumped up out of my bed howling. "Kor shut up" Breiz moaned , he was still asleep. Drapht leaped out of his bed, mini tornadoes billowing on his hands"Who ,what, where ,when ,why,".
"Why did I faint" I demanded
"Well humans can’t stay awake as long as Komodo dragons" Breiz answered. "It will take you a while to get used to your human form" Drapht whispered. " The reason you blacked out is your human form needed sleep, so you fainted" Breiz reasoned "I’m going for a walk" I said , not used to my human voice. I walked out of my den and was immediately ambushed by Komodo dragon guards. I tapped the tattoo on my neck and turned back into a Komodo dragon. "Kor"? The Komodo dragon guard looked very surprised. He backed off. "But, you..just....human" He managed to sputter those words out. "I don’t know what you are talking about" I said trying to look innocent. So I just got up, told him to go back to his post, and continued walking to the caves door. Then I heard a scream, a human scream. I ran towards the voice as fast as my human legs could carry me. Then I found the source it was a human lady being kicked by an Izan solider.
I was in human form ,I did not know if my fire powers would work in human form. So I snuck up behind the solider and tryed to make a knife out of fire. I did.( Turns out I can use fire in human form ) I stabbed him right between the shoulder blades. He fell with a scream, his skin black where I stabbed him. I picked his gun and slung it over my shoulder. The woman screamed again and ran away over the hill. I kept walking toward.. I don’t know I just felt I had to keep going. I ran over the hill ,chasing the lady. The ground was covered in grass ,and I still was not used to my human body. I tripped and fell on my back. "Ouch" I muttered ,the gun slamming against my back. I laid there for a couple of minutes. Then I got up and kept walking along the path the lady took.
Wait , Before I start this paragraph if any of you reading this don’t like people being shot, skip this paragraph.
I army crawled behind a bush hoping I imagined what I just saw. I peeked out from behind the bush and immediately pulled my head back in. Yes, there was a squad of izan troops headed my way. I made my way through the bush ,so I might be able to shot a couple of them . Oh by the way did I tell you I picked up a sticky grenade from the dead solider. The squad was now right outside my bush . I reached out and stuck my grenade to a solider’s boot. He kept walking, unaware of the deadly bomb stuck to his foot. I heard the explosion and saw three Izan bodies go flying into the air . I quickly drew my "borrowed" gun (which happened to by a sniper rifle) and pulled the trigger. Two more Izan troops crumpled to the floor.
Unfortunately the last Izan troop found my hiding place and handcuffed me. Then the next thing I know I’m on my knee’s outside of the bush with no weapon’s. My mind flashed a idea. "Can you please roll down my shirt ,by my neck" ? I asked the solider. "Sure" he stuttered. Obviously he was a junior recruit . I flipped a rock up into the air and hoped it would it my neck. It did, I was ,once again, engulfed in white light. I heard a satisfying crack of handcuffs breaking. The solider looked like a hippo with his gaping mouth. I wrapped my Komodo dragon claws around the solider’s neck and slammed him into the ground, leaving a nice size human shape dent.

CHAPTER 3: Kor's discovery
I beckoned Breiz and Drapht with my tail. "Come here," I said. "Where are we going?" Breiz asked.
"To my den, " I replied.
"Why are you taking us there?" Breiz asked yet another question.
"You'll see," I gave another answer. When we got inside my den I asked Breiz and Drapht, "What's on you minds you seem really distracted lately?"
"Um. You know that soldier who we annihilated earlier?" "Yeah," I replied.
"Well you know how he said I need to test if you are shifters?"
" Yeah," I said again.
"Well me and Breiz are shifters and you kinda are too," Drapht whispered.
"Is that why I have fire powers," I asked. "Yes and we both have wind powers," Breiz said excitedly.
"You and Drapht?" I asked. I was really getting agitated now.
"Yes," Drapht answered.
"Wow," I whispered. "Is there anything else that we can do, other than our elements,"I asked. I’m starting to feel like Breiz, asking so many questions.
" Yes, Kor you’re actually a human," Drapht replied, though hesitating as he said it.
" Are you humans too?"
" Yes, we are actually your guardians, Kor"
"So what else can we do?"
" We can change back into humans, watch" .Then Drapht instantly changed into a human.
"Whoa that lasted less than a nano-second," I declared loudly.
" Keep you voice down," Breiz hissed.
"Sorry," I responded.
"You try " Drapht encouraged.
"How do I do it" I asked
"Since your a beginner shifter, you have to hit the tatoo on the back of your neck"
"Sure"
So I tapped the tatoo one the back of my neck and ,Blam, a flash of white light enfulged me.
Then I blacked out.

So I tapped the tatoo one the back of my neck and ,Blam, a flash of white light enfulged me.
Then I blacked out.

CHAPTER 2: The Izan
"Another day with the reptile clan and Kor still doesn’t know he’s a shifter," Breiz whispered .
"Yeah well, we will tell him soon," Drapht replied. The were sitting in their makeshift hollow in the underground base of the reptile clan. I popped my head to their hollow and said, "Dinner’s ready" Drapht flapped his wings so hard that it blew Breiz against the wall. " Race ya," Drapht shouted as he was flying out the door. "I hate it when he does that," Breiz muttered. Breiz then looked out to see Drapht circling above the hollow. Breiz launched himself into the air after Drapht.
Suddenly a hole was torn open in a shower of rocks and a soldier stepped through and shouted "All of you come here I need to test you!"
"for what" Drapht asked him.
"I need to test if you are shifters, so come here now, all of you" the soldier shouted again. Breiz gasped and flew straight up out of the soldier's reach "So you are a shifter," the soldier said pulling out his gun.I whipped my tail at the solider and knocked the gun out of his hand. " What the..." the soldier never got to finish his sentence because he was blasted against a wall by Breiz and Drapht’s wind attack. "Kor finish him off," Drapht said mercilessly. In my hand grew a ball of green fire. I launched the ball across the room and into the soldier who went limp the moment my ball hit him. "So", "who wants to eat dinner now" I said cheerfully.

Chapter 1
Chapter 1:
I'm Kor ,and uh........................well, just read the story, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
The sun had nearly vanished. I emerged from the tunnel that me and my fellow Komodo dragons had dug. I felt the ground shudder, as if with anticipation. I could see the volcano from here.
“It’s time” I whispered. I felt bad leaving his clan behind without telling them he was going on a trip. I took one last look through the tunnel and was surprised to see my whole clan coming up the tunnel . When they reached the top they all shouted at once “we are coming”. I wanted to know how they knew I was leaving but I didn’t have time to ask. All I said was “follow me”. The clan did not notice a cloud of dust billowing in front of them. “Lets go” I said. I lead everyone right into the mini tornado of dust. The reptile clan rushed toward the volcano , but they were thrown up into the air and flung toward the earth plains . As they were sailing through the air I kept trying to calm the clan down but all they would do was say some thing like “We are going to die” or “were not birds you know”. We were nearing the surface.I shouted “Brace yourself!!!”
Then everything went dark. Unbeknownst to the group, 2 falcons were responsible for the dust wave. The two falcon’s were shifters that could control the element air. Shifters are humans that are born with the power to change into a certain creature at will. They were gifted with one creature, they aren’t able to choose that creature. Some can control an element connected to their creature. “Breiz, I see your training’s finally kickin’ in!” “Thanks bro” Breiz said sarcastically. “Well Let’s see you do better, Drapht!” Breiz said again sarcastically. “With pleasure!” He replied, blasting Breiz off their perch. “Little do the reptiles know, That their leader is a shifter!!!”. Breiz shouted from the ground.
Suddenly a whistling ball of fire almost hit Drapht in the face . “Damn, you blew our cover” Drapht shouted over the noise which was a mixture of Komodo dragons hissing and balls of fire flying into the tree they were perched on. “Come on Breiz lets get out of here” Drapht yelled. They both lifted off the ground and flew away with the dragons following close behind. The leader of the reptile clan (A.K.A. Me) was the one throwing fireballs. " Whoa, he has good aim " Briez shouted “ A treaty could be arranged you know” I shouted back . “Fine” Drapht anwsered as he and his brother were landing. “So why were you chasing us” Breiz asked, “We thought you were the ones who sent us to the plain” I replied “Um ....”Breiz struggled to find the right words . “ We did not fling you over here” Drapht cut in. “Good” I answered. “ I know I haven’t known you two falcons for long but you are strong and would be very good guards, I need animals like you to help and live with the reptile clan, So will you join my clan?” I asked “Sure” Drapht answered "After all we are your guardians" Drapht said in his head.
